The Audit Committee Journey

While many of the 1,300-plus audit committee members responding to the annual KPMG global survey believe their audit committee is "very effective," nearly half rated their committee as only "somewhat effective" or in need of improvement.

Of the responding Audit Committee members, 30 % is not very confident of the CAE's reporting on controversial issues related to senior management of the organisation.

Only 41% of the respondents is very satisfied with the effectivesness of the Internal Audit Function.
