Objectives

The Standards of Internal Auditing (IIAS 1300ff) require that Chief Audit Executives maintain a quality assessment and improvement program, and that the internal audit function is reviewed regularly.

The IIA and several affiliates have developed programs to support the implementation of the individual audit functions' programs.
